A rose in full bloom
Not a hot-house flower
But a wild one
Coming back year after year
Season after season
Weathering both life
And harsh elements
Coming back stronger
More beautiful then before
Learning to adjust
And survive
In this topsy-turvy world
That we call life.

This is what I see
When I read the words here
Each poet, each person
A different colored rose
Thriving or holding on
Depending on the season
Living in sheltered
Crevices on windy mountains
Or out in open plains
With the rain free falling
Tears of joy and sorrow
From the sky
It's good to see this garden
Survive.

Your time is here. Take one last look at it, then never come back. This part of your life is already over...
