The ocean speaks to me ,

in tones of aquamarine.

She speaks clearly to me

bold and wise words.

She tosses me snatches,

of foreign landsfrom afar,

speaking of bleached shores.

Of pearly- white beaches

andrich emerald isle's.

She whispers of palaces,

Kings and mad tyrants.

Tells of her fruitful womb,

of it's hidden treasures.

She boasts of her power,

her passion and will.

She tosses me warnings,

yet fills me with glory.

Whispering to me

in her aquamarine tongue.

thanks Joyce, I, like you, dont have a great deal of opporunity to visit the ocean, but when I do I love it. I adore just standing watching that mighty expanse and dreaming about what is beyond the horizon.
