Aggression Down

Once upon the time I spent
Void of ways to thrive on vent.
I swallowed anger, seethed within,
Lost the battle, could not win.
Now with one amazing tool
I no longer chase the rule
Of swallowing rant and rage
That ruled in triumph, set the stage
For defeat and misery.
How did I do it? You shall see.
I jotted down every thought
Emotions that were often fought
Came drifting out and setting free.
It sorted out a maze for me.
Mrs. Jones became a bird;
A crow for her was my word.
While she flapped her shiny wings,
I wrote down all of the things
That I was deadly set against.
I did not hesitate to mince
Her attitude, her turned up nose;
All of this went into prose.
As I set out to write this down
Mrs. Jones flew out of town.
