I think the weather is against me. In Brittany I would shout at the waves: ”stop! Listen to me!” I felt they would. The pasty lips closing just at my feet, And the sand spoilt gently by a dribble. Here, scuttling down the step stones, the rain is foreign. It tastes different without me. Coiled and dropped is another string of strawberry blond. Please accept my coin. Laugh at the flat-headed stickmen in hill town. At least they don’t know wells aren’t magical. They never glance up at us while we slide, or at the earth eroding behind our trainers. |

Thanks Marge a bit melodramatic it is, though...(the poem that is) nice to see you again "more than yesterday, less than tomorrow, i love you" |

hello there, I love your descriptions here. Enjoyed the read and you certainly have a good way with words. Here, scuttling down the step stones, the rain is foreign. It tastes different without me. Coiled and dropped is another string of strawberry blond. Please accept my coin. hugs june x |
