Oh come to thee oh loving romance,
take thy hand beneath this dying moon,
and join thee in this lover's dance,
which induces too many hearts to swoon.

Gaze to thee with those hazel laden eyes,
that thieve to steal this lover's heart,
that glow so brightly to this surmise-
and to all else this heart takes part.

Caress thy face with those golden tresses,
that glow so vividly in the moon's light,
(that to this lover, such light impresses),
and thy eyes linger in beauty's delight.

Oh how I doth desire to touch those lips,
that lie upon such a fortunate complexion,
to thee it would be an eternal eclipse,
and the dawn of the long awaited resurrection.

Oh there are so few traits that keep thee bound,
(I shall go no further then to say thy loving face),
for never these loveless eyes has such beauty found;
nor has such a thing this life so tightly embrace!
