Love come quickly under the moon,
hurry for time moves too fast,
and dawn comes all too soon,
and this time shall soon past.

Fallow thee to the mountain brook,
and cast our earthly feelings aside,
as eyes to each aspect doth look,
and to each other our lives confide.

Hold thy hand while we move to sea,
where we can gaze into the stars,
in search for love in eternity;
wishing upon them love may be ours.

But hurry for time refused to cease;
and soon this very night will yield light,
and this newborn love will decease,
and never again may love grace our sight!
