Pardon me my dearest lady, my heart begged me to question; what is it that you see in thee, and was it your first impression? What was your very thoughts, the first time your eyes came to rest, upon thy wizened face with hair in knots, and the bareness of thy breast? Please madam tis more than I can bare, let it be if it must, my very last request; but speak to thee of our first affair, and put thee quest to rest. For I cannot begin to construe, the thoughts that came to mind, when my eyes first laid to you- I knew thou art one of a kind. It felt to me the sun's debut, in a world cloaked in darkness; that much my eyes knew, and that much, may be thy weakness. It felt like the nightingale's song, in a heart void of meaning, resounding brilliantly it did wrong, my heart by intervening! So I plea to thee speak, of our very first encounter, so I may not be so meek, when I ask thee for another! [This message has been edited by PassionatelyRomantic (03-06-2004 09:11 AM).] |
