Love's pathway through
Orchids straining the sun's glare:
blinding to puddles.

Words tossed like spit
often, if not always, end
up on my face.

You...forgave me, I
still rumble in the wrong
like Sunday's bells.

What do you mean to me?

All things my hands have held,
eyes seen, heart wanted, soul sent.

May I say it? I love you.

This is three senryu, a katauta and a mondo at the end.

Beautiful! Words that would give life to the one it's intended just to know they are cherished that much. Lovely, and so full of heart.

Thank you Marge, Noel and Terri.  Those terrible slips of the tongue at wrong moments...I was born in the year of the Monkey...I think that causes our mouths to be mischevious.

But I do love her!
