Windspinners Turning in unison like a very slow waltz or dervishes in slow motion in prayer to sparking gods black, the spin of blades 60 by 3 by hundreds bent to the breeze scintillating back the glint of power on white towers The Church of Electrons "As soon as the generals and the politicos can predict the motions of your mind, lose it." would it be giving all your secrets away to tell me what "60 x 3" means? one of those mind-boggling poems that i didn't used to like to look at because there wasn't enough time to figure it out. i like |

7, Too obscure? Probably so. Refers to the size and number of blades on these rather large wind generators being built these days. (All to power the electric goodies we MUST have and hence the reference to gods and church.) I could change that line to 60 by 3. That might help. [and just realized that I forgot a line!] editing time . . . "As soon as the generals and the politicos can predict the motions of your mind, lose it." This is an interesting poem. Until I read the comments I didn't understand it but now it makes perfect sense. Betty Lou Hebert |
