Liz, I think I recall reading your poem and if I remember correctly it was a real riot as well. (little play on words) Anyway, thanks for reading and for your kind comments. And yes, for sure, the warf does have strange and unique creatures of all kinds. -Bob |

Bob: This is a fun read. I really enjoyed it. It reminded me that I recently heard the people of Gold Beach, Oregon, make homes for any stray cats that come to light, on their jetty. They neuter and feed them and build sleeping places for them. Great, don't you think? Betty Lou Hebert |

Trillium, Thank you. I spent about three months in the Springfield/Eugene area and I regret that I never got over to the Oregon coast. I hear that it is beautiful. Matter of fact, we got our cat in a similar way... we got her four years ago from a lady veterinarian who finds stray cats and kittens on the street, takes them home, neuters them, gives them flea baths etc, gives them their shots and advertises them in the newspaper to be given away to good homes. What these people do is quite a marvelous work indeed. -Bob |

Melton, I guess your right, but it is only because the wharf is one of my favorite places in the whole earth to hang out... so I suppose that I should notice something. -Bob |
