(AN: This is to a very special woman who I'm glad to call friend, however my feelings deepend last year for her. She's dating someone else though)

Solitary

Alone, foresaken to the lonely road.
My heart feeling like it's gonna implode.
My feelings I chose to bury.
I walk along, a wanderer solitary.

I know a grief only the chronically lonely know.
The fact you've got him is a bitter blow.
If your heart beats for him, go my love.
Mind not my pain whilst I implore mercy from above.

My happiness matters not in this equation.
No dates, no romance, no special occassion.
As long as you're happy, I can still try.
To march on the lonely path as I silently cry.

I only want you to feel special and loved.
Even if not by me, you're much beloved.
Solitary man, this lone poor soul.
Where his heart was, there is only a dark hole.

Wandering, beaten, along the path.
Unrequited love shows me her wrath.
You've been with him for two months time.
My wounds inside, treated with lime.

I walk the path of alone.
Hurt and isolated to the bone.
I walk on a path that's meant for two.
Guess that's why I'm feeling blue.

Wow such powerful feeling here.
I admire your poem so much and it has really drained me emotionally through the feeling you show so well.
Great writing and such sadness.
I only wish, pray, hope you will soon find a new love that will be so wonderful it washes all pain from your heart.
