I'm sitting, listening quietly wondering if existence matters, in the eyes of strangers- whether the light creeps through or distills the vibrations bleeding into... one moment of perfection. Tiny stairsteps hide the shadowy stare of a thousand bullets piercing the tainted moon and I memorize the reflection, a glitter in the thickening wood. I hear a restless voice breezing the open skin of my neck, pushing me into the depth- Yet I stand. Patient. A tall particle of life, gently swaying in the stirring wind. Bent, weathered and changed- I breathe the existence within peacefully. To be great is to be misunderstood. Emerson |
