Etched in the illusion of time

words
what words kill me
separation of tragedy
in my river of pensive thoughts

silvery quality and breathless rhythms
how can these words
sever
the designs for my paradise
once ambrosial
twice paradoxical
this story of undoubted fusion
'tween my mouth and soul

words
worth a thousand vigilant eyes
strangely dizzy
as I breathe into my poetry

reaching that end in Elysium's fields
where fingers bleed upon boundaries
open to
unchaste world

she will not leave,
will not go

hold on
a little longer than eternity
fate has yet to speak
these words

phlegmatic impressions
laced in between aversion's mercy
oh, antipathy of stars
foolishness
I possess as my song
why cry?
we only see what we need

these words
words that flow
flow
from my fingers
and from my soul

where paper agitates their fragility
gravely searching

for the poet from which they came
to fruitlessly attempt return

For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch,
