You have not noticed the morning sun
replaced by oily clouds like autumn

chip bags. If you were magically
transported to Teneriffe or Malaga

you would be dressed the part at least
and the mist and shine of sweat would be

understandable, your pallor less so.
You squat and stare unblinkingly, though

not at half-embarassed passers-by,
rather the dull pin-point of light

at the very end of things. Maybe
you are wondering how that happy

twelve year old, dressed in bridesmaid peach
became the you that's here, beached

on the cold cobbles of this cold town,
all your changes up, but one.

(sigh) And that one thing that didn't change is the fact that that twelve-year old boy will always live deep inside you and if you live with the heart of the boy, you will embrace chance without ever changing! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, I love this, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Craw, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Very nice.  Keep that child within you.  She will keep you young.  Love, Joyce
