If I could look into forever what wonders would I see would my heart rejoice and sing in this revealed eternity Would there be skies of asure blue and warm endless sunny days would rainbows leap across the clouds in bold pastel displays Would songbirds trill sweet harmony in deep meadows lushly green would children play and laugh and dance while parents smile and preen Would all the countless tears and sobs of a billion broken hearts be stilled and comforted at last as pain and suffering departs If I could look into forever dare I dream that this could be that my soul be filled with wonderment of the beauty that I see That men of every race and creed stand together hand in hand and an everlasting peace preside throughout this happy land the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |

Your poem is lovely and optimistic and perhaps if we could look to forever that is what we would see. God was kind to hide the future from us or we would not be able to make our day to day struggle in the now. Love, Joyce |

I love these thoughts. Very nice, and it's too bad the whole world couldn't make this their motto for life! I wonder what the world would be like, for real? I think if we knew the future we would be a slave to change it. We would be obsessed to change it if there was anything in it negative. It would consume our time. Love, Shara~ Of sound, and speech let all lift the hearer! [This message has been edited by SharaRose (09-29-2003 11:40 AM).] |

Lovely poem. I am sure that this is the dream of a hundred nations currently being bombed and invaded right at this moment. I too have the same dream, pegasus, that one day there will exist a world without hatred, greed and suffering. This is my poem of the week! Connie. |

(big hugggsssssss) I believe everyone has contemplated of this plan, but sadly many have false and ignorant impressions on what exactly creates peace when it simply isn't a complicated answer whatsoever! (sad sigh) I too hope that everyone can follow thir "middle way" and seek Nirvana and all greed, gluttony, and avarice behavior can vanish and the whole capitalistic disease can be cured by universal charity, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton I don't need no proof when it comes to God and truth |
