Watching Seagulls With All My Time Watching seagulls tiptoe across the sea, As I reminisce times you make me angry, I giggle silently with a drop of tear. A tear I hold so scarce by your sea. Remember that rainy day my dear, The last time I cry was I running away. I ran away caused I was mad. Yet the moment I was away from you I cried. I never thought the next time I cry, We would be forever part till heaven have mercy, On a morning dawn received me to your side. Deep down you know I'll always, waiting for you. (Chorus) *** My heart was broken, when you left me. I couldn't give a tear, yet my eyes were red. You made me speechless, as my eyes search around For agreement, that you were still- alive. The day of your funeral, I pretended to smile. Yet deep down inside, I wanted to throw up. I wanted to scream at you. Why you left me here. Then all of sudden, I remember the sea. *** We used to drive a boat to feed birds. You said someday you would be like seagulls, Tiptoe across the ocean, chasing me behind. You said I was the fish, that kept you alive. Sometimes I wonder, why did you are gone. Yet every time when I see seagulls cross the sea, Answer seems to be in my heart. I can't help but smile to you, Knowing you will be alright in the sea. Repeat Chorus x1 Then all of sudden, I remember the sea, The smile on your face seems to glow on mine. Then all of sudden, I remember the sea, The pain in my heart seems to be lifted away. Watching seagulls tiptoe across the sea, As I reminisce times you make me angry, I giggle silently with a wish on my mind. I wish to be with you in the sea all my time. I wish to be with you in the sea all my time. (c)Aug 29, 2003 Eliza Simmons Eliza Simmons |

Eliza: Many pretty scenes in this poem and I enjoyed it. The sea is so fascinating and it's best shared with someone. Betty Lou Hebert |
