Indulgence Children ask me, Why I am always smiling. Friends ask me, Don't I have down times. And I say I say when I play with you, When I am chatting with you, I do sincerely happy Yet when I am alone, My childhood friend comes Leaving me a scream, When I see my reflection in mirror. The person in me drive me nuts. She takes away my will. She steals away my soul. She pulls me into indulgence. My integrity got eaten up. And I I use poetry as my confession. I can't let my faults left unspoken. I tell everyone what I fool I am. Yet to my surprise, They say Beautiful, Please take a step back, And see yourself for real. You're smart and kind. Yet my heart says I am selfish. Born like Garfield, Love eating and sleep. Done nothing productive, A burden to family. Mirror, If tonight you were to visit me, Please tell why I am here. Your'e here to live your life with confidence. I enjoyed the read although it was rather pessimistic. Maggie |

Sometimes we just don't have all of the answers right away. Don't fight it. Go with the flow. God know what he's doing. Love Joyce |

I know what you mean about writing being a way to express that darker side of ourselves. It's a great outlet - Don't lose it! |
