I step out of the shower and throw a towel around my body. As I reach for the hair dryer, I glance up at the bathroom mirror. I cannot see my reflection. I cannot see my eyes staring back at me. Without another thought, I start to doodle on the mirror. My fingers make the steam disappear as I draw on the smooth surface. I am a child again. I am a child carelessly drawing nonsense on glass. As the water from my hair drips onto the counter top, I look at the mirror once more. The steam is gone. My artwork has gone with it. All that is left is my reflection, the same refelction I sought to see before. I realize that I liked being a child better, drawing on a fogged up mirror.

It is very healthy (in a magickal sense) to let your inner child out. Especially when making contact with wood spirits (in my eyes they exist.) I myself write on the mirror all the time.
