It's not so easy being tall Some people think you have it all But I can tell you it's not what it seems Because being short is one of my dreams Always sticking out, above the crowd Can't ride here, 6'3" and below allowed Hiding away is something I can't do Leave me alone, I can't help you You're tall, come over here people whould say Grab me this item, now go away My only purpose seems to be Getting things for shorter people you see People starring, like I'm a freak Expecting me to be strong, but instead I'm weak I'm only 6'6", and growing like no other Add 3 inches, and you got my brother That room is too small, I hit my head I remember that day, because I bled If geneies could come and grant me a wish Being shorter would be on my list Nothing will fit, my clothes don't last A galon of milk each day, it goes so fast My legs hurt, they won't support my frame Being tall, it's such a shame After reading this do you really wish to be tall? Or would you rather stay short, skinny, and small? I wake up again and wish to be plain This height I have, it's such a pain |

Patrick~ To be uniquely you is a blessing~ You're gifted with poetic ability ... and ya' know that no matter how short or tall one might be ... it's the ability to SEE past the yardstick of others that really makes one stand out~ This 5' 2" shorty would hope to measure up eye-level with you~ Nice write and welcome to the Corner Pub~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

This is cute. I don't have any idea how it might be to be extra ordinarily tall but I think at 5'2" like I am, you would find some disadvantages too. Walk tall and proud. Love, Joyce |

PointlesS: I have always envied tall people and I still do! Being on the short side has many disadvantages! I find it really hard to walk with tall people, because I almost have to run to keep up with their long legs! Also I can never reach things on high shelves without getting on a step-stool. Two major gripes! Betty Lou Hebert |

I am 5'4..was 5'5. I don't know where that inch went to ? Anyway, I am guilty. I am always asking hubby please reach this for me. I have tried to stop doing that and just grab a broom handle and pull the can good out and catch it on the way down. hahaha So far so good. It's a good thing I had all brothers to play pitch, and catch with. Wow, now you got me missing playing catch. Darn it...hehehe it's all your fault....just kidding just kidding. This was a nice read. And Hey..watch that door way now! hehehe SharaRose @-->-- p.s. You think since you're taller you might be just a little closer to Heaven? I do. Of sound, and speech let all lift the hearer!
