I just need a day
one that I don't have to plan

one that doesn't go away
where Time in stillness stands

a day with sunlight
and with moon

a day in which my soul
is soothed

not by wine of weed or fire
not by wanton passion or desire

but by the gentle laughter borne
in a child like heart once forlorn..

now her voice like autumn fae
dances light and bright and gay

and the daisies now we chain
we even laugh within the rain..

and nuzzle deep neath blanket warm
and huddle her... against all storms...

I totally understand your need for a day. Sometimes those days are really nice for the soul.

My dad used to call days like this " mental enemas"..we all need them from time to time. It gets harder if you have a family.
