Velvet Sound

Oh, to touch that velvet sound
that the curtain of night
softly brings down
To feel the surreal of velveteen sky
with starlight and moonbeams passing by~

To know the glow of a magical sky
as twi-of-night executes a soft, soft sigh
Knowing that somewhere else in this world
another shares this oystered pearl~

All of this ... and so very much more
awaits this side of Heaven's door
As poets pen the soft, soft light
of day-in-surrender ... to the oncome-of-night~

~The breeze that kissed you on the face,
    Has held me in the same embrace~

So pretty...ahhhh like a lullaby to rock you to sleepy land...soooo very pretty!!!!

Of sound, and speech let all lift the hearer!
