Songs Of A Wayfaring Heart ~*Marge Tindal*~ These weary feet now walk the road carrying such a heavy load Yet always in the wooded lea a song of joy comes to play~ I pause in listen to the past of days when I thought life would last longer than it might for most realizing now, I hear the ghost of Ancient Spirits in gentle drone calling ... calling calling me home~ With spirit not yet ready to go I resist the invitation ... and so they continue letting me gather life's songs so merrily~ Praying I can always make the time to sing my songs in gentle rhyme So that when it comes my time to pass I do so with songs all sung~ ~In this life ... there are many songs that must yet be written and sung~ July 2003 ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Praying I can always make the time to sing my songs in gentle rhyme So that when it comes my time to pass I do so with songs all sung~ This is lovely and, as poets, that is the best we can hope for, isn't it? Thanks for sharing your writes with me...I am back on my rhyme game now too. Smiles... Patricia |

Marge, This is a lovely write, but one that I'm not really sure how to respond to. I know you have had health problems as of late, so I truly hope this is not something that you feel to be imminent for you. Dawn |

A sweet, gentle wish that I think we all hope for... Marge, you've gone and pulled on my heartstrings again. Very nicely done, BWA I awake to a world I don't want. There is no transition for me. I am in heaven. I am in hell. |

Good morning, Marge ... In the past few days, I have read these beautiful and meaningful words over and over again. Each time they sing to me for reasons we both know. Thank you for this piece, as I consider it a personal gift from your heart and that of the ancients. Love and hugs, Marti Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts.
