- When Morning comes... - Holding you so close, Your breath cold upon my skin. Dreading the coming day, When I will leave you again. When morning comes, you'll be gone, And I'll wake up alone in my bed. I will long for my dreams of you, But our lives go on instead. I could have stayed forever, There in the darkness. I heard you crying soft, And I gave you a tender caress. The pleasure I got then, Just kissing your lips lightly, Was worth all this pain now, That now I'm going through nightly. Do you think about me When you're all alone at night? Do you wake up crying, with That feeling you just can't fight? I wish I could hold you Once more so close to my chest. And taste your salty lips, And tell you I miss you, above all the rest. "Ain't Got no quarrels with God, ain't got no time to grow old. Lord knows I'm weak, won't somebody get me off of this reef" |

Ah... I know this feeling It's beautiful and well written. And it's true.. better to have loved and lost... then to have never loved at all. Doesn't always help at the moment to remember that though. BWA I awake to a world I don't want. There is no transition for me. I am in heaven. I am in hell. |
