Dear Friends, I'm sorry, I've not been home To read your words, each lovely poem. Old friends have called while I've been gone. The door was closed they knocked upon And names I do not recognise Have entered with a verse surprise. Now it will be my greatet pleasure For me to savor every treasure When I can find an hour of leisure. My answering machine is scolding so And saying I'd no right to go. My snail mail covers up the table, I'll read it soon as I am able. I must peruse The waiting news; See who has died and who has not. My email pouts that I forgot To open, reply or delete. I'll open when I'm not so beat. But first I take the watering hose To every little plant that grows In my huge garden, first things first; Before they all expire from thirst. Joyce: Cute poem! There's always so much waiting to be tended to, after you've been away a few days. It's taken me all week to clean all the camping gear and put it away and catch up on laundry and everything else! Still is fun to get away though! Betty Lou Hebert |

Thanks for understanding you sweet people. This morning I had to run off again and demonstrate flower designs for all the shows that are coming up. The convention was great Marge, I had lots of work and lots of fun. Love, joyce |
