Seeking You In Driveway Breathing cold air of midnight, You'd driven to a hidden place in town. Far away, I thought you were sweating; Now I could see tears of your face. Trembling, struggling to show courage, You've feelings hidden under masks. Far away, you wanted to be left alone- I could see I couldn't touch you. Pleading in my heart, I asked you not withholding The questions and anger from your mind. Far away, disappointment shown through eyes- I just hoped I could be shoulder to your head. Wondering what else I could do, Pondering what matter troubled you, My heart grown sour, In seeking only if you could smile- I would be relieved too.
