Metamorphosis We are but metamorphosis, A seed planted into the womb, Cocooned in a pliable bed, Surrounded by protective warmth. Our extraction is our freedom, We are but metamorphosis, Changed by life experiences, Our choices are our own to make. We love and hate, do good and bad, Restarting the cycle over, We are but metamorphosis, Now following an ordained plan. Life is but a breathless whisper, Caught ‘twixt birth and eternity, With death a portal to pass through, We are but metamorphosis. |
