I polled upon the breeze
And took up shelter after night
I looked on for the beach
But then I never thought I might

I'm going someplace homeward
Though I know now not which way
Barefoot on roads less travelled
I'm not the same as yesterday

My clothes they have worn thin
And my soul hangs by its thread
Destinations where I leave them
And by sundown I could be dead

So now I fight the wind down trodden
And keep my eyes fixed on today
When I lay down my arms outstretched
I'll find my beach somehow, someway

this piece is well done. I like the upbeat theme that runs through it. like the old timex commercial.."takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'"

Sounds like a tropical Robert Frost style. I really liked this one Bob. The ending was breath taking. Awesome, once again!
