Hi everyone, i have been missing a couple of days as i broke my ankle and had to keep it elevated (no pc lol )back now though and missed your lovely poems. i will leave you with this and go have a read now. hugs from june x My place Beneath a ruby streaked sky in a cool rich field of green I sit crosslegged protected by the shadow of an old oak tree. Warm evening air blankets my body with just a hint of a summer breeze It plays around my shoulders caressing the skin with its tease Worldy noises are distant and vague and a calm pure and still envelope me A personal refuge in my own colour sheme where i go to be burden free |

June~ This is simply LOVELY~ Beautiful imagery that transported me to your place of serenity~ Being a serenity-seeker ... I sure understand this one~ Hope that ankle gets all better QUICKLY~ Take it easy .... hey, if you're off your feet ... gives you LOTS of time to write more and more poetry~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

A perfect moment in a perfect setting. They come so seldom. I could just feel it. Hope the ankle mends quickly. Love, Joyce |

Thoughtful Spots, in the words of one very wise bear, are something precious. This poem shows how beautiful the calm found there, wherever there might be, can be....lovely. Luv, Liz xxxxx "Gorge the honey from life, and live through the stomach aches knowing they will pass..." ~Liz Pinard 2003~ |

Dear junemac: So sorry to hear about the broken ankle. My son has broken both ankles at different times, (thank goodness) and I know what he went through! Hope it won't be too troublesome while it is healing. I really enjoyed your poem! We all need quiet spots to relax and dream! Love Betty Lou Betty Lou Hebert |
