I dream of them of long ago, Who kept a secret we didn't know. The art of love, so long forgotten, Replaced by lust, so cold and rotten. The intimate act of consummation Now taken over by obligation. Oh I miss the simple brush of lips, And down below the wrapping hips, That sway their bodies side to side, And new sensations open wide Rising higher, breaths so warm When the secret act has been performed. To feel so whole, to feel so free Your body screams in jubilee To feel your senses rise in delight For it felt the arousing flames ignite. And when you feel it's about to end, It surprises you and starts again. Such simplicity is now unseen For today it's chaotic and so unclean. It's much too casual in this age Much too lustful, filled with rage. So to history lies the secret of The forgotten art of making love. ....This is bound to be moved aint it? lol... Funny you posted this just after I watched a special on t.v. last night on the lost art of making love on Bravo, and you couldn't have done this poem with more truth and tenderness. It is very well done but do me one tiny favor correct this part (To feel wo whole) and it is darn perfect!

Wow, I liked the rhythm and the feel of it, and how u didn't go into the "details" but still managed a descriptive poem. Hugz n muahz [This message has been edited by rcl 4eva (04-27-2003 12:34 AM).] |
