Expiration Date I thought the words so witty, they would last more than a day; their wisdom touch so many hearts they'd never fade away. After posting them I waited for the answers to appear. Ignored, unread, they disappeared into the great somewhere. Some poems live on and some expire before the ink has dried. This is my little, mournful chant for that small verse that died. So true, so many get lost don't they, bogged down by the burden of new posts. Of course I believe everything you write is well noticed as the reader knows that in seeing your name we are in for a treat. |

I know what you mean, Joyce. So many good ones sink way too fast. |

Thank you Denise. I wasn't complaining, just observing. Thanks for reading. Joyce |

Joyce~ I've lamented a time or two for my lost verses too. Then yesterday, my friend returned from a two week trip and replied to everything I'd written .... EVERYWHERE ! LOL ... for a minute there I thought I owned the joint !! I personally try to make the time to go 'back pagiing' and bump a few from time to time. I think it's a good practice for all of us to do~ All this 'maintenance' and I still get to write poetry ! Tee-Hee ! It's a GREAT day to be a poetess~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
