The Woman in Me The way I saw how I could have done this or that, Now I find out, those were only my silly thinking, Touching nothing close to realities. Not knowing what I want, and how I can change, What I'm gonna do to find directions? I need someone make me realize The woman in me... Is capable...worth trying And I need to stop running from life, Running from my studies, Running from growing up. I... I'm scared that I soon will be all grown I... am not a girl, but a woman, Yet my heart says I'm still a girl. I wish I know what to do. You may think I'm weak, and I won't deny. It's time for me to wake up... from the hurt. (c)April 16, 2003 Eliza Simmons Eliza Simmons |

It's okay to grow up into womanhood without leaving the girl behind. I have lived many decades more than you and I know that little girl is still in me and sometimes comes out to comfort me. Love, Joyce |

I really believe that no matter how old we are a child still exists within. You state your thoughts nicely here. |

What can I say? I know that the "child within" lies in us all, experienced that through my own poetry a while back. There is never a hurry to grow up, you mature when you least realise it. As for studies, well it will pay off and map your plans for what your future could hold. Wish you all the best. Lonestar |

Eliza~ Ahhhhhhh, there are days that I accept the 'woman' I am ... and days that I'm soooooo thankful the 'girl' still exists~ 'Yet my heart says I'm still a girl.' May it always be ! ![]() *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
