True Love For Poetry (Question of Tonight) Ding...ding... twilight of the moon, Accompanying bells among the wind... Tonight I put a question to your mouth At the stories times, under benign lights. I can see your pens are all worn out, Yet what is the true love of poetry? If all there is writing, without revising, How could someone improves? If all there was writing, without listening, How could someone revises? If all there was writing, without reading, How could someone learn to enjoy poetry? Isn't a big part of poetry Is to enjoy the sound and poets' feelings? Isn't a big part of sharing Is to get a gimplse of the world? So how can one share poetry Without loving to read them aloud? How could someone loves poetry Without enjoying reading? Ding...ding... twilight of the moon, Accompanying my question of the hour... Tonight I have told you a story Of my own reflection, under benign lights. I can see your pens are all worn out, Yet what is the true love of poetry? Can't you, can't you, please tell me, For every moment, it's burning me To claim it's my love yet keeping it away... (fading...)
