Standing on Skating Rink

Three stones
Stand apart
From each other on skating rink,
Inspecting
Each other with eagle eyes,
Waiting
For waves to be stirred again.

Side note: Assume this is a hockey scene on a second read. I hope you all enjoy my poem.
