As the sun sets again,
And the day has gone it's way,
To heaven my prayers I send.
I know he hears what I say.
Thank you for the sunshine,
And the bright blue sky.
Thank you for my peace of mind,
As I watch the eagles fly.
Many days that were spent wondering,
I do now spend in play.
No more longing or pondering.
No more trying to find my way.
Oh, the beauty I now see,
Was an answered prayer.
For many times I cried that plea,
And now you've shown you care.
Thank you for my peaceful nights.
Devoid of tossing and turning.
Thank you for the stars bright light,
And the love that quenched my burning.

Too often we do forget--that gratitude open new doors... letting more light in. Thank yous--are so simple, and are quickly overlooked.
