They Say … ~*Marge Tindal*~ I see things up in the air ‘they’ say …there’s nothing there But I swear, in just a glance I see words hold hands and dance~ Words rhyme and words chime dancing with pure glee What’s wrong with others … Why can’t ‘they’ see ? I grab the words, tossing ‘em on a page Suddenly … they’re the greatest rage ‘They’ can see them there in print I now smile … in quiet relent~ I see things up in the air ‘They’ dare not say they are not there For where else would dancing words be if not with the reach of me ? ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
