As I gazed into the sky
I saw a cloud-feather passing by
Spirit of ~My Warrior~ in seek
of the land beyond time
where he now will sleep~

The earthly vessel full
... complete ...
Time for Gentle Giants to sleep
No greater gift ever given to this Maiden
than ~My Warrior's~ inspiration~

Marge/sis...I know he knows the heart that saw a feather, not a cloud. He has always been a beautiful spirit and I am grateful to you for introducing me to him. Love ya!

This is a lovely tribute to your ~Warrior~.
I know that you KNOW that he will always
be with you in his own way, and the cloud-feather
was a perfect sign of that.

Dear Marge: I'm sure Don is smiling on you from Heaven and enjoying this lovely tribute. I will always be thankful that I came to know him a little, through your kindness in introduing us. He will leave an empty spot and will never be forgotten!

Marge, dear sweet lady I was so excited to see you name again. How very much I have missed you.

I am saddened by the news of the passing of your friend. It is always hard to lose someone you care so much for.

Dearest Friends
~My Warrior~ was the kindest, most gentle person. We have walked this plane before and will do so again.

He leaves behind a lovely wife, Nan, and eight children. His earthly services will be held today, where his beautiful poem, 'Going Home' will be read by one of his lovely granddaughters.

His daughters have been in here to read the poem and comments ... they have been printed out to share with the family.

I have written and asked Ron for permission to post 'Going Home' and as yet have not heard from him concerning the request.
Don's family has given permission, which I forwarded to Ron, for me to post his words.
If and when I hear from Ron, I will do so with pleasure.

Through the years Don sent me many 'thoughts' that he asked me to 'polish' ... they were all gems that showed what a beautiful soul resided within him.

No greater friend ... no greater loss~

What was ... is ... and will be so again
