The summer rose lies sadly whithered on the vine a dull grey shell swaying listlessly in silence not a hint of matchless summer beauty remains only the dreams of former greatness swirl slowly memories vividly embedded in an aging ghost yet, deep inside the bowels of this unobtrusive hulk lies the miracle of new life, the mystery of ages waiting patiently to burst forth in renewed glory to signal the coming of a new day, a glimmer of hope, and a world starved for charm and grace waits impatient for the evolving dawn. the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |

I love this poem, Peg...Hope, always the gift that God gives to keep our spirits and souls ever blossoming! Hugs, Ellie A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

Very, very nice Pegasus. I find the promise of new life for all of us, in the performance of my garden. Love, Joyce |
