December Garden December month has come around. I can't believe it's here again. It's time for cards and buying gifts And gathering the greenery in. This lovely branch will make a swag. It only needs a cone or two. A ribbon made into a bow And I've a lovely gift for you. I'll send it and attach this poem, I hope you hang it on your door. My winter garden's giving still To you, to me, to birds and more. The winter garden rests a bit And seems to be a dying thing; But like the gardener herself It's readying itself for spring. Joyce: A charming poem and I love it! I was looking at the dying plants this morning and thinking about how they look in springtime. It seems a long ways off but time does go fast. Betty Lou Hebert |

Joyce~ Just perfect~ Today Bill and I hung a swag of greenery above the entry into the living room. I had gathered Sycamore leaves last week and painted them ... they look so pretty hanging in the greenery with the pine cones~ I LOVE this season of decorating~ *Huglets* sweet lady~ ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Soooooo lovely, Joyce! I need a swag of greenery and then my decorating is done! I'm really into it this year for some reason. I haven't felt that way for a long time! Your winter garden sounds lovely! |

December's garden does seem rather bare and boring. No wonder our gardens show off in the spring! Enjoyed your thoughts on your winter garden. Deb |

Joyce, you have captured a special moment so eloquently. Hmmmmmm....can another Wildflower be far behind? the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |
