i brought them out, those i'd tucked away pictures, fond memories of friends and me looking at them, i was brought back, to the times we played and fooled around. then i smiled and then i laughed, but stronger was the nostalgia i felt. suddenly, i felt a rush of lost many friends, i hadn't seen so long, i miss them so, i cherish the times, we partied, we sang, we all belong. oh i'm old, no longer like a child, life now, new responsibilities to bear. friends have changed, whether good or bad, i don't really know, i wish i had. when we were young, less worries and cares, but the present well, isn't really that sad, still good sometimes, we laughed and stuff. but maybe it's something so special about the past, cause once it's gone, memories is all i have. |
