The 9th in the wildflower series ____________________________________________________ Bend not thy proud head in sorrow my bud lift thy sweet face to the morning sun the day is promising and the dew bountiful drink deeply and taste the liquid of life thy thurst slaked, open wide thy velvet arms caress gently the one who loves thee so for he awaits with misted breath by thy side eager to be drawn deeply into thy mossy bed resplendent with the scent of thy musk dainty wildflower, thy presence envokes joy in all that view thy elegant magnificence but in thy secret lover it is without limit for his love for thee is found in the heart rich with love for thee and in the depth of a soul forever etched with thy name the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost [This message has been edited by pegasus111 (09-14-2002 07:46 AM).] |

Speaking of revealing the soul, Dear Friend. You have done a magnificent job of that with your series and this is no exception. Love, Joyce |

I do feel the breathless romantic lure of your wildflower and her lover....each new poem of their meeting is more exquisite than the last! Lovely, Peg...Ellie A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |
