OUR COUNTRY in memory 9/11/01 September 11,2001 was that fateful day As clouds turned blackish gray that day Our country was stunned in disbelief Cries of pain and unbelievable grief It all began just one short year ago We were told to pray and to grow To pick up the pieces and go ahead God will be with us always, it is said Because we know that God does care Our burdens will be lighter to bear God gives us a way to heal and to cope God is our Savior and our hope Take this memory proceed with life Remember in times of grief and strife That our strong faith will take a stand With one set of footprints in the sand © By:Brenda Hall |
