Pop cans, bottle caps Broken, shattered glass Litter scattered everywhere You glance, look or pass. Chip bags, chocolate wraps Blow trapped in the wind Half eaten sandwhiches Lay ruined, bluemold finned. Bubblegum, candy wraps Tim Horton's mugs and more Newspapers, magazines A barren apple core. Look at where we're living Within a Garbage Can We've lost all sensibility When caring for our land. Disease is spreading rapidly Much of it our fault Cleanliness has turned to drudge We must bring this to a halt. Living in a garbage can Is no great place to live Disease and grime and filthiness Is to others what you give. |
