SUDHIR'S TAPESTRIES Sudhir weaves a thousand threads More fine than silk each woven edge He spins a filament just so And wraps the twine with golden glow Each twist and turn is intertwined With truths that he so well combines And then he very subtly Pulls out exquisite tapestry Fine Belgian damask's put to shame By fabrics written in his name A cloth of words hand stitched in prose Or versed in their most silken clothes Sudhir wove a thousand threads That we all loved and we all read Life's patterns twisted through and through Of lavender and Antwerp blue Among the alabaster twine And threads of amber, sage and wine Unique designs in scripted phrase With words that dazzle and amaze But greater than the cloth he weaves Are what he lives and he believes For these are truly what he spins A tapestry from deep within Thank you, Sudhir for your inspiration and for sharing your wonderful work with us Love Liz [This message has been edited by Elizabeth Santos (edited 06-26-2000).] |

Liz, What a lovely tribute to Sudhir, who I think has touched us all with his beautiful and inspiring poetry. It is fabulous and so is yours. LW Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. Smith |

As I have only just arrived here, I know not this Sudhir whose words you find so dear. Rest assured your words have meant, that upon a mission to find Sudhir's I am sent. |

This heart send out a deep *sigh* Feel that I am on a natural high, With wonderful friends like these around, Could I find ever my feet back on the ground? Liz, for such a great gift, I Thank You All of you who read and send their wishes, All who gave their comforting words, I Thank You too, With all my love and sincere affection, I send you hugs and kisses... ........... Imagine waking up to read this, I am really so honoured, I can't express how much... Thanks once again, Warmest Regards to all of you, Sudhir. Death, be not proud, though some have called thee, Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so; - John Donne |
