Today I.... put things in perspective

I'm a wanderer, a nomad...I don't live in one particular area, Just wherever I end up.

Today I

Woke up bright and early
Only to realize it was Sunday
I
Made myself breakfast
Only to burn my french toast
I
Went to use the restroom
Only to find the toilet was overflowing
I
Took a shower
Only to slip and fall
I
Attempted to put on my makeup
Only to cry it all off
I
Tried to make a phone call
Only to find the phone was disconnected
I
Went out to lunch
Only to find I lost my money
and
My credit card was past its limit
I
Started to drive home
Only to run out of gas
I
Sat down to relax
Only to find out I had a million things to do
I
Finally got things done
Only to have more things come up
I
Tried to lay down to go to sleep
Only to find that you weren't there
I
Cried at your absence
Until I fell asleep
I
Dreamt of a monster
Only to wake up sweating
I
Stayed up late
Only to realize that
Tomorrow was monday
And I had to wake up
Bright and early once more
I
Came to realize that these are not major problems
And that at least I have all that I want
Even if I don't really have the time
To enjoy them
