Confusion is a soulless thing It's waves of despair like a blinding rain It turns and twists my heart affray With thoughts of you throughout the day Too much to say in whispered breath To one so rare, above the rest A gem so bright to blind these eyes Such beauty leaves me petrified To dare and dream of such again Brings newfound joy to simple men To know your touch, receive a kiss Fear of that of which I will miss For those who choose to dare and play Should love have such a dangerous way I wish I wish it could be though To feel your warmth beneath me so |
