Some people act like dragons A dragon eating daffodil, Upon a promenade. Stilled with the sound of whippoorwill, That put him on his guard. The knights were out in hunting gear, For sure on maidens quest. The signal was that they were near And he could have no rest. He billowed up a head of steam, Took credence on his aim. And belched a test upon a beam, That blazed it up in flame. He waged his tail and faced the wind, Spread his wings just incase. And when he heard a sound downwind, He charged into that space. And the whippoorwill laughed that day Just laughed and flew away. |
