My heart hears . . . the echo of past dreams resounding through the canyon My heart hears . . . his whispering voice guiding me through the valley My heart hears . . . the words he speaks reverberating through my soul My heart hears . . . the sound of his footsteps walking through the scenes of life My heart hears . . . his unwavering support coming through loud and clear My heart hears . . . the wisdom of his words soothing all of my deepest fears My heart hears . . . the sound of his love whispering softly on the wind Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. A well expressed poem! I am probably wrong, you are most likely writing about a lover, but for some reason to me, it felt like you were talking about God's love. Truly Beautiful work Take care, Melissa Honeybee |
