Desert Flowers In my desert two flowers grow. Their shining faces are bright and beautiful Amidst the sea of sand which is their home I the gardener stand-alone between two desert springs: One is deep; his soft cool waves lap my toes, climbing past my knees, my hips, my breasts, engulfing me in sweet water. His current is swift and my balance is lost. Sweet nectar turns to salt I turn and run until he beckons me again Begging to find my lost self The other spring is quiet; his shallow waters are tepid and still. And though he does not soothe my tired soul with moist kisses He does not disappear under the sun’s fierce rays. My desert children flourish and grow strong. |

I can see there's something going on here. Very clever piece of writing. Stick with the shallow tepid one he's liable to do be the best bet. I know the excitement of the other is more than you can bear. Ain't life grand....choices.....I enjoyed the read! |
