A Welders Touch A welder’s hand touched upon iron and made a dream. He bent this iron forming curves so delicate gracing every direction, twisting it just so giving an unending feeling. He made pitched arches that point to heaven inviting the angels to bless what ever garden this gate resides in. Such a work of beauty this gate, it now rest peacefully at the entrance of a rose garden staggering in size. Every possible color of the rainbow this garden posses, with tender love given it day after day this garden of such sweet smelling delight. Little wood chairs and cherubs bless its paths inviting the angels to rest a spell and upward to the sky the roses are facing swaying to and fro in praising rhythm giving thanks to there creator. I sit here in awe at the sheer beauty before me in natures so bounteous glory, my heart at peace and my soul in no want, and I wonder with gleam where the welder with such beauty in mind is and if he would see this magnificent garden and profess candidly in regards to the perfect place his precious iron gate resides. Oh, Cerenity~ What a lovely look at the art of another. I so admire the iron gates wrought from the hands of the artisans. It is a craft of beauty for sure. How imaginative of you. You must surely have seen a gate that impressed your precious muse. Beautifully done. So glad you shared. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

Marge, Thank you so much for your kind words, and yes I have this gate at the entrance to my rose garden, a friend was moving and this was just sitting against a wall and she said I could have it if I wanted it and of course my mind was light up in sheer delight at the wonderful things that might come of this beautiful gate. Cerenity, a beautiful picture you painted. I love roses, you must have a lovely garden view. amazing poem, excellently written. ------------------------ "Take nothing but pictures. I got an interesting view from your lookout here... dad in-law used to tell my wife (when she was 4 or 5) that she was eating up all his welding rods... she never did understand for years what he meant. Thanks, |

Hi Everyone Thank you so much for your kind replys, my rose garden is not as beautiful as the poem says but a rose is the most beautiful flower I think, but the gate is quiet lovely and made a good subject, or at lest im trying to write more positive poetry and on the spot poetry I find that to be hard for some reason, I am more the same time every day kind of writer, any way thanks again. Love, Cerenity |
