Emotionally Spent Amy M. Kennedy ~dedicated to my baby~ Pain slices through my heart I just want it all to end They are trying to pull us apart But I refuse to bend You are the other part of my soul My water, my breath, and my air You complete me, make me feel whole Does my own father really care I don't want to fight I want to be with you Darkness surrounds my light Your feelings I know are true Our love is destiny and fate Others just don't comprehend For you I will always wait This love is too strong They just don't understand I want to hold you close to me And tell you not to cry Whisper to you forever and always If I lost you, I would die You say you're emotionally spent And I can see why My heart and soul to you I've sent I want to hold you and fly I will hold you till you cry no longer Somehow we will get through this Together we will find a way to be stronger And find a forever eternal bliss I will wipe away your tears Never will I leave your side I will chase away all your fears Never will you hear me say good-bye You are the essence of me Regardless of what I have to do With you I someday will be For to myself I am true You are worth more than you know My forever soul-mate Our souls and hearts we did show And I wont shut the door on fate. < !signature--> "Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. you need say nothing more... your heart and soul wrote this poem... and ya know what amy... sometimes ...just sometimes... somethings are bigger than all who look upon it...and sometimes it does not matter if "they" understand. let love lead, the others will follow be patient...somethings take more time... it will be well worth the wait.
